DefectGeneral Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2013-2019 Chevrolet Express Cutaway and GMC Savana Cutaway vehicles equipped with optional GM-provided body mounts (RPO BNC). The brake line may have insufficient clearance to the body mounts, which can result in brake line damage that can lead to a brake fluid leak._x000D_ A brake fluid leak can result in brake failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

RemedyDealers will inspect and replace the brake line as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 4, 2024. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N242466950.
