DefectMcNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2010-2024 Rear Loader vehicles. The license plate light was installed in the wrong location and may not fully illuminate the license plate. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."_x000D_ An improperly illuminated license plate reduces the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

RemedyDealers will relocate the light free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 13, 2024. Owners may contact McNeilus Customer Service at 1-888-686-7278.
