| Defect | Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Macan Electric vehicles. The headlights may be too bright and exceed the maximum light output, which may adversely affect the vision of drivers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."_x000D_ Headlights that are excessively bright can reduce visibility for oncoming drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. |

| Remedy | Dealers will reprogram the headlight control unit software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 24, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ARC5. |
