DefectTiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026 Open Trail motorhomes. The Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC) label may have the incorrect cargo carrying capacity information, which can result in an overloaded vehicle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars.”_x000D_ An overloaded vehicle can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

RemedyTiffin will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 16, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-105. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning January 16, 2026.
