Hazard descriptionThe product is not safe if used for infant sleep and/or if bedding material is added when in use as the head rest and body support insert can increase the risk of suffocation. There is a risk of serious injury or death from suffocation if the product is used for infant sleep and/or bedding material is added when in use._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ There have been reports overseas of deaths involving infants when other Snuga Swing models were used for sleep. In most of those incidents, the infants were unrestrained and bedding materials were added to the product.
RemedyConsumers should immediately remove both the headrest (by cutting the tether) and the body support insert from the seat pad. Mattel Pty Ltd will provide a full product refund to consumers who remove and return the headrest and body support insert to Mattel Pty Ltd.
