Risk of burn injuries and damage to property if the battery catches fire._x000D_ Santa Cruz Bicycles has received four reports of fires, including some property damage. No injuries have been reported.
RemedyStop using the Heckler 9 e-bike immediately and disconnect the battery (link is external) from the e-bike and charger. Check if the battery is affected by following the instructions in the consumer communication or on the Santa Cruz Bicycles' recall page: https://santacruzbicycles.com/pages/recall-heckler-9-lithium-ion-battery (link is external) . If affected, register your details to receive a replacement battery when one becomes available in mid-July 2025. If the battery is not affected consumers may continue to use their e-bike.
