Hazard descriptionThe lithium-ion battery in the parent unit viewing screen may overheat during charging, which could result in the battery swelling, melting, emitting smoke, or sparking and become a fire hazard. Risk of serious injury, death and/or property damage from fire if the battery overheats during charging and starts a fire. Incidents have occurred overseas.
RemedyStop using the affected Babysense MaxView parent unit immediately, unplug it from any power source and do not charge or use it. Visit www.recallsecure.com (link is external) to enter your details and serial number and follow the on-screen instructions to receive a free replacement of the parent unit. You should dispose of the old parent unit once you receive confirmation it is a part of the affected serial numbers.
