Hazard descriptionThe aluminium inserts from the carbon on the crank arms may suddenly detach from the crank body. Risk of serious injury or death if the crank fails while in use and causes the rider to crash the bicycle.
Remedy1. Stop using the e-bike immediately. 2. Return the e-bike to the place of purchase or an authorised Cube Bicycle distributor for a free repair. Cube Bicycle is offering two repair options: a) receive temporary aluminium cranks, which will be upgraded to carbon replacements when available in 12 months; or b) receive permanent aluminium cranks and a free e-bike light. 3.
