Hazard descriptionThird-party testing of the glazed ceramic plates has determined that they contain lead in excess of allowable limits. Lead is highly toxic, especially to children. A range of serious health effects have been associated with exposure to lead and cadmium, including anemia, vomiting, diarrhea, heart and immune system. In extreme cases, there have been deaths. As of July 16, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada and in the United States.
RemedyImmediately stop using the recalled products and return them to the store of purchase for a full refund or contact Canadian Art Prints and Winn Devon Art Group Inc. to make a request for refund and then destroy the product.
