DefectIssue: On certain vehicles, the connection for the electric hydraulic power steering pump (EHPSP) could become loose. If this happens, the EHPSP connection could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats and melts can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, FCA recommends that you should park your vehicle outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until the recall repairs are completed.
