Hazard descriptionThe plug pins are too close to the periphery of the plug. Users can receive an electric shock from accessible live parts when plugging or unplugging the plug from the socket. Moreover, the earth pin is sheathed, so it does not contact the earth in the socket properly. The plug is a ‘clover-style’ plug, which provides insufficient protection against the risk of fire as it is inadequately earthed.
