Hazard descriptionA small number of units have taps which have been affected by a manufacturing defect. Water drawn through these affected taps may contain higher levels of cadmium than the maximum acceptable value for New Zealand. Prolonged exposure to cadmium is linked to serious adverse health effects.
RemedyCustomers who own affected units should stop using these immediately, and contact Zenith to arrange a free replacement and installation.
