Hazard descriptionThis may cause a risk to health, Tremolite (a naturally occurring asbestos in quartz) has been detected in some samples after laboratory testing. No trace (respirable) asbestos has been detected in any of the collected samples. The presence of asbestos fibre bundles does not imply that there is a risk of asbestos exposure. Asbestos fibres are hazardous only if they are sufficiently fine, airborne and inhaled in sufficient quantity.
