Hazard descriptionThe product presents a serious risk of fire as the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. As the plug does not make a proper connection with the socket, it could overheat and cause a fire. Additionally, the plug failed to meet the requirements of BS 1362 as the plug did not have any facilities for a fuse. The lack of fuse protection means that the product does not cut off electricity under fault conditions and could therefore result in the lead or appliance to overheating._x000D_ Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.
