Hazard descriptionThe product presents a risk of injuries as it has been identified that a plastic component at the back of the helmet that holds the chinstrap can break. If this occurs, the helmet may not remain securely in place during an impact or fall, compromising the safety of the user.
Non-complianceRegulation (EU) 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment; Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018
RemedyThe affected helmets have been withdrawn from the market and recalled from end users. The returned product (from a non-compliant batch) will be exchanged for the same product (from a batch not affected by the defect) or refunded at its purchase value.
