Hazard descriptionA safety issue has been identified with Morco Open-Flued Gas Water Heaters which may be installed in mobile homes, caravans and domestic settings._x000D_ The product presents a risk of fire, explosion and injuries. There is a risk of gas leaking which, if ignited, may cause burns, explosions and injuries._x000D_ The products are not in conformity with the requirements of Regulation 2016/426.
RemedyMorco have initiated a recall for affected appliances. Owners of gas water heaters installed (including those which have previously received a safety upgrade) should contact Morco immediately to discuss next steps. Owners should not attempt to check or test the appliance themselves.
