Hazard descriptionThe product presents a serious risk of electric shock due to poor quality internal soldering and inadequate creepage and clearance distances within the charger. The plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 because the distance from the live pin to the outside edge is too small. The product also presents an injury risk as there is no manually activated chain brake. If the product was to ‘kick back’ during use, the user may lose control of the chainsaw, leading to injuries.
