Hazard descriptionProduct instructions do not include adequate instructions for installation, specifically, the requirement for ducting extracted air to outside. When used in accordance with the instructions without being ducted to outside, the machine does not effectively control exposure to hazardous substances generated during the intended use of the machine, including respirable dust. This is of particular concern when used to control dust generated by processing materials containing respirable crystalline silica (RCS). Exposure to RCS poses a serious health risk.

The manufacturer Tekno Filtering s.r.l.s. have stopped supply in GB until the machine instructions are updated and brought into compliance.  The GB supplier Stone and Glass Group Limited has also stopped supply.
