Hazard descriptionThe product presents a serious risk of fire as the mains supply cord has excessive resistance, and the fuse has insufficient granular filler. As a result, if there is a fault with the product or a surge in electrical current, the product could overheat and catch fire. The product also does not meet the requirements of BS 1362 as the fuse link and end caps are below minimum dimensional requirements. Some of the required documentation and markings are not present.
