Hazard descriptionThe product presents a serious risk of fire as the plug fuse does not contain a ballast and does not conform to BS 1362. The ballast is required to ensure the safe operation of the fuse under fault conditions and its absence could lead to the plug overheating and/or exploding. Both the plug and fuse are deemed to be counterfeit. Some of the required documentation and marking are not present.
