Hazard descriptionMercury Marine has identified the potential for a fault to occur while operating boats with affected Gen 2 DTS or Avator controls. This can occur while shifting into reverse and applying throttle. A horn will sound, and the shifting and throttle commands will be limited.
RemedyThe products are being recalled from end users.  Consumers with affected products should follow the steps outlined in Annex B of the linked PDF, and if necessary, take their boat to any Mercury Marine Authorised Dealer for repair.
