Hazard descriptionThe product presents a risk of entrapment as there is a gap in the “roof” of the play tower. If a child climbs into this area, they may become trapped. The product also presents a risk of injuries as it is sold without ground anchors, and without these anchors it is possible for the unit to tip over during play. The packaging for the product also presents a suffocation risk.
Non-complianceToys (Safety) Regulations 2011
RemedyThe manufacturer has initiated a modification programme and has contacted affected customers to provide a repair kit, safety label and updated installation instructions.   The product as described above is no longer available for sale.   The necessary ground-anchoring components are now included with the product  The roof design has been modified with additional slats and screws  The plastic bag originally provided has been replaced.   For further information, please contact compliance-safety@vidaxl.com.
