Hazard descriptionThe product presents a high risk of asphyxiation as testing has indicated that some 2021-2023 boilers may ignite late, causing pressure damage and possible CO leaks. This could expose people in the building to unsafe exhaust gases and potentially lead to asphyxiation.
RemedyVeissmann have notified end users who are affected by this issue and have warned installers of the risks.   Affected users will receive a replacement ignition module and burner control unit, and a CO detector with shut-off function or conversion of the burner to current series configuration with pressure sensor.
