DefectDue to a manufacturing issue, a retaining screw between the vehicle’s electrical wiring and the fuse box located in the front passenger footwell may not have been tightened sufficiently. As a result, the vehicle may experience a loss of propulsion whilst driving. In addition, electrical resistance in the wiring could increase resulting in a vehicle fire. A loss of propulsion whilst driving and/or a vehicle fire could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property.
