| Defect | The fuel delivery hose may have been installed incorrectly and come into contact with the engine oil level gauge bracket resulting in premature wear. Fuel may leak from a damaged hose and, in the presence of an external ignition source, result in a vehicle fire. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders and/or damage to property. |
| Remedy | Owners will be contacted in writing by Isuzu UTE Australia asking them to schedule an appointment to have the fuel hose inspected and replaced, free of charge. |
