| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, oil cooler lines could burst resulting in a sudden loss of oil pressure. This could lead to the engine stalling or an oil leak. An oil leak in the presence of an ignition source may cause a vehicle fire. A sudden loss of motive power whilst driving and/or a vehicle fire could increase the potential risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Aston Martin Lagonda by mail, asking them to schedule an appointment with their nearest dealer to have the oil hoses cooler replaced, free of charge._x000D_ Note: Vehicles repaired in RA-03-1926 (REC-005947) prior to 15th of August 2024 will not have used the latest level of parts and therefore those vehicles are included in RA-03-1973 (REC-006082). |
