DefectDue to a manufacturing defect, the road wheel centre lock nuts may be defective. A defect could cause the lock nut to fracture and result in loosening of the wheel. Loosening of the wheel can result in a loss of the wheel and a loss of control over the vehicle. This can increase the risk of accidents, damage, injury or death to vehicle occupants and road users.
