| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, vehicles may have been assembled with missing seat mounting bolts. As a result, the seats may not be correctly secured to the vehicle and could move inadvertently. If the seats move inadvertently in the event of an accident or hard braking it may increase the risk of injury or death to occupants. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted in writing asking them to immediately schedule an appointment with their preferred Kia dealer to have the work carried out, free of charge. |
