| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the steering shaft nut may not be tightened to specifications. This may cause the steering wheel to become loose resulting in a loss of vehicle control. A loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Suzuki Auto QLD to schedule an appointment with their nearest Suzuki dealer to have the Steering Shaft Nut checked & re-torqued, free of charge. |
