| Defect | The alternator wiring harness may have been assembled with insufficient clearance and could become damaged. If this occurs, the Transmission Control Module (TCM) may not operate as intended and the driver unable to change gears leading to a loss of motive power whilst driving. The inability to change gears and/or a loss of motive power whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users. |
