| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the engine crankcase sealing bolt may not meet specifications. As a result, engine oil may leak onto the road and come in contact with the rear tyre leading to a loss of vehicle control. A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of an accident, which may cause injury or death to rider and/or passenger or other road users. |
| Remedy | Once parts become available, Honda will contact affected owners requesting them to make an appointment at their preferred Honda authorised motorcycle dealer and arrange for your vehicle to be inspected and repaired, free of charge. |
