| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel pipe may become damaged over time, caused by vibration_x000D_ and extended high RPM usage. If this occurs, fuel may leak potentially causing a loss of motive_x000D_ power whilst driving. Fuel leak in the presence of an external ignition source could result in a vehicle_x000D_ fire. A loss of motive power or vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants,_x000D_ other road users, bystanders and/or damage to property. |
| Remedy | Repair activity is currently under preparation, once the repair action is available Mazda Australia will_x000D_ contact all affected customers to advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred Mazda_x000D_ Dealer to replace the fuel pipe with a modified one. |
