DefectDue to a manufacturing issue, the fitting connecting the delivery hoses to the lift axle spring brake may not have been tightened to the sufficient torque and could become loose. This may cause unintended brake application whilst driving. A sudden unintended stop whilst driving, could increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted and asked to book an appointment with their preferred Kenworth dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
