| Defect | Due to a manufacturing issue, the modules installed in the high voltage battery may be defective. During charging a thermal overload could result in a vehicle fire. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users, bystanders and/or damage to property. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Audi Australia Pty Ltd and are asked to arrange with their nearest authorised Audi dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge. |
