| Defect | Due to a manufacturing issue, the cell modules installed in the high voltage battery may overheat at high charge levels. If this occurs, it could lead to a vehicle fire._x000D_ Note: Keep the battery charge level below 70% which can be set in the Charging setting menu on the vehicle display. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property. |
| Remedy | Note: (This recall supersedes REC-006524)_x000D_ Until parts become available owners should keep the battery charge level below 70%. This can be set in the Charging setting menu in the vehicle display._x000D_ Instruction: Setting a target battery level for charging._x000D_ 1. Press the vehicle symbol in the bottom bar of the display and go to Settings._x000D_ 2. Go to Charging → Target battery level._x000D_ 3. Set your charge level to maximum 70%. |
