DefectThe vehicle's owner manual contains incorrect information regarding the location of the child seat top tether anchor point. As a result, the user may not be able to locate the appropriate anchor point for attaching the child seat top tether strap. There is no safety hazard, and the defect will not affect the performance of the vehicle._x000D_ The affected vehicles do not comply with Australian Design Rule (ADR) 34/02 - Child Restraint Anchorages and Child Restraint Anchor Fittings.
RemedyFord will be writing to customers regarding this Field Service Action._x000D_ For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford Customer Relationship Centre on 13 FORD (13 3673).
