DefectDue to a manufacturing defect, the worm wheel within the Electronic Power Steering system (EPS) may have been insufficiently lubricated. This may result in a sudden increased steering effort whilst driving. A sudden increase in steering effort could increase the risk of an accident-causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted by LDV and asked to make an appointment with their preferred authorised LDV dealer to have the work carried out, free of charge.
