DefectOn the affected vehicles, the rear lower suspension arm bolt may not meet the required specification and may detach. As a result, the suspension could collapse and/or damage the brake line leading to a sudden loss of steering control and reduced braking performance. A loss of steering control and/or a reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted in writing requesting they make an appointment at their preferred Aston Martin dealership to have their vehicle inspected and rectified, free of charge.
