DefectDue to a manufacturing defect, the ball joint brackets mounting bolts on the front lower suspension arm may break. This may cause the wheel to change direction and result in a loss of vehicle control. A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Peugeot requesting them to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
