| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the low-pressure fuel pump may not operate as intended and could result in the check engine and master warning indicators to illuminate on the combination meter. If this occurs, it could impair the fuel supply to the engine leading to a loss of motive power whilst driving and inability to start the engine. A loss of motive power whilst driving increases the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users. |
