DefectIn the tire puncture repair kit, due to improper nozzle structure of the emergency repair hose and incorrect pressure relief valve opening pressure adjustment, if a puncture repair is performed with the hose not correctly connected, excessive pressure may be applied inside the repair agent bottle. As a result, if the internal pressure of the bottle exceeds its pressure resistance during use or storage after use, the repair agent bottle may rupture, causing components to scatter, and in the worst case, the user may be injured.
ComponentOther (Tire Puncture Repair Kit)
RemedyFor all affected vehicles, the tire puncture repair kit will be replaced with an improved one. As it will take time to prepare the parts, users will be requested to stop using the tire puncture repair kit and the existing kits will be collected. Once the parts are ready, users will be notified again to exchange them for the improved kits.
