DefectDue to an error in the MBUX multimedia system software development process, the MBUX multimedia system and the parking assist control unit may not function normally. In such cases, the parking assist control unit function may be permanently deactivated, which may prevent the automatic braking function from activating at intersections and in parking lots. Consequently, if the driver relies solely on the assist system, the risk of collision may increase, leading to a recall.
