DefectThere is a possibility of moisture ingress due to a design error in the BMS unit's airport and foreign material ingress due to the connector sealing being out of position. Additionally, there is a possibility of the high-voltage battery BIC connector sealing being omitted during the production plant assembly process. This recall is also due to defective manufacturing of the dummy connector sealing.

RemedyFor affected vehicles: ① Apply silicone to the BMS unit's airport area and inspect the connector sealing, replacing it if necessary. ② Inspect the high-voltage battery BIC connector sealing; if an omission is found, install the sealing. Also, replace the dummy connector sealing with one that has improved elasticity and resilience, and then insert additional sealing pads inside the connector.
