DefectDue to a software error, if an abnormality is detected in the TPMS, when the vehicle is turned off or enters standby mode between driving cycles, the TPMS malfunction warning light may not be continuously displayed. In such cases, the driver may not be adequately warned about low tire pressure, which has been confirmed to increase the risk of a collision, leading to this recall.
ComponentOther driving system components
RemedyUpdate to version 2024.38.7 or later via OTA (over-the-air) (If an abnormality is detected in the TPMS, the TPMS malfunction warning light will illuminate continuously). (However, for some vehicles, the action (firmware update) may have already been completed, and no further action may be required. For details, please contact the manufacturer's customer service center at 080-617-1399.) Since this is a firmware update, a visit to a service center for this recall action is not required.
