DefectDue to a production process error, the support weld of the rear axle carrier may not have been properly performed. In such a case, the weld may not withstand the forces generated during driving, causing the camber strut to detach from the rear axle carrier without prior warning. As a result, wheel guidance and driving stability may be impaired, increasing the risk of an accident, leading to this recall.

RemedyReplace with an improved rear axle carrier after towing the vehicle to a service center. - Because the camber strut may detach from the rear axle without prior warning while driving, please stop operating the vehicle immediately. - For the replacement of the rear axle carrier, the vehicle must be towed to a service center. Please contact and make a reservation with your nearest service center for towing. Vehicle towing service will be provided free of charge, and a courtesy car of the same class will be provided.
