DefectA recall is being issued because the engine installed in this vehicle is equipped with a system that allows evaporated fuel gases, generated during the fuel supply process, to be reused in the combustion process instead of being directly released into the atmosphere. A problem has been identified with the PCB (printed circuit board) and pump bearing within the evaporative emission canister purge pump, which is a component of this system. This issue may cause the engine warning light to illuminate and potentially exceed regulated emission levels.

RemedyAfter checking the specifications of the installed purge pump, the purge pump will be replaced if necessary. As some vehicles may have already received the same corrective action under warranty, it may not be necessary to visit a service center again for this remedy. For detailed information, please contact the manufacturer's customer service center at 080-800-1228.
