| Defect | A recall is being issued because the engine installed in this vehicle is equipped with a system that allows evaporated fuel gases, generated during the fuel supply process, to be reused in the combustion process instead of being directly released into the atmosphere. A problem has been identified with the PCB (printed circuit board) and pump bearing within the evaporative emission canister purge pump, which is a component of this system. This issue may cause the engine warning light to illuminate and potentially exceed regulated emission levels. |
