DefectDuring the vehicle production process, the sleeve at the positive cable connection point between the 48V starter generator and the battery may have been installed with incorrect pressure. In such cases, the connection between the 48V starter generator and the battery may be degraded, leading to the battery not charging or the engine shutting down. Furthermore, increased contact resistance at the 48V starter generator and battery positive cable connection point could potentially cause a fire, leading to this recall.
ComponentOther electrical components
RemedyReplace with a normally produced 48V starter generator, and replace or repair the battery positive cable if necessary.
