DefectDuring the tire manufacturing process, the ply cord (internal reinforcing material of the tire) at the contact edge of the front tire may be incorrectly assembled, leading to excessive pressure and potential breakage. As a result, if the front tire is driven approximately three times the normal usage limit, damage to the ply cord can cause the tire tread (the outer surface of the tire that contacts the road) to gradually swell, potentially leading to vibrations and driving instability. This recall is due to this possibility.
ComponentOther running gear
RemedyFor affected vehicles, check the tire's manufacturing number, and if a defective tire is installed, replace it with a normal product.
