DefectDue to foreign material introduced during the manufacturing or assembly process of the brush module within the drive motor, a conductive connection can be created between the brush module and the housing. In such cases, there is no risk of electric shock or fire, but the abnormal detection of insulation resistance between high voltage and ground is excessively applied, causing a warning light to illuminate and a check control message to be displayed on the central monitor. In very rare cases, the vehicle may gradually stop while driving, leading to this recall.

RemedyUpdate the software with an improved insulation resistance abnormal detection function (preventing unnecessary shutdowns), and if a warning light illuminates due to foreign material in the brush module, clean the brush module and install an isolation disk.
