DefectHood Mount: In the front hood moulding of the subject vehicles, due to insufficient consideration of the mounting structure, the moulding can deform by temperature variation, which may lead to cracks and loosening as repeated stress is applied to the mounting part of the moulding. Therefore, if the moulding continues to be used in this state, it may separate from the vehicle and cause an obstruction to other traffic. NOT ALL VEHICLES IN THE MODEL YEARS ARE INVOLVED.
RemedyAs an owner of an involved vehicle, you will be contacted by registered letter requesting you to contact your nearest authorised Toyota Dealer to arrange a convenient time to have the repairs completed at no cost. Alternatively, contact Toyota's Customer Dialogue Centre to discuss.
